DIRECTOR: MICHELLE SALMON In just her third year as the University of Cincinnati Women’s Soccer coach Michelle Salmon led the Bearcats to a #19 ranking in 2009. She hit 18 wins (the highest two year total since 2001-2002) last year and led the 2008 Bearcat program to a record setting Big East finish. Coach Salmon’s 2008 Bearcats finished in the top six in the Big East for the first time ever with a program best 6-3-3 Big East Conference Record.
Amanda Martin arrived at the University of Cincinnati as an assistant coach in May of 2008. Since arriving at Cincinnati her Goal Keepers have earned three Big East Conference Goalkeeper of the Week Awards and led the Big East Conference in saves for the 2009 season. Prior to coming to UC, she was an assistant coach for the University of Oklahoma. At OU her goalkeeper was twice named the Big XII Goalkeeper of the week. Her first stop in coaching was at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte where she led them to an A-10 Championship and her goalkeepers set a school record goal against average. Coach Martin is also an Ohio-South Olympic Development Program staff coach and serves on the Region II ODP Goal Keeping staff. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: TIFFANY ROBERTS Tiffany Roberts arrived at the University of Cincinnati as a volunteer assistant in 2010 and became an assistant after the fall season. She is the coach for the U16-U18 Hammer FC girls here in Cincinnati where she has coached for the past two years. Prior to coming to Cincinnati, she played college soccer at Santa Clara where she went to a Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, and Final Four in the NCAA tournament.
